The Writing Workshop That’s All About You Finding Your Groove
Ready to shake things up and finally write like you’ve always wanted?
Experience the freedom, fun, and joy of finding your voice in this long-running, ongoing writing workshop where you can show up and write consistently with others. Every week, you’ll get what you need to tap into your imagination and connect with your creativity and flow. This lab is a safe, judgment-free zone for you to pre-write and craft delicious new pieces. You’ll reconnect with your creative spark and imagination using the proven tools of Improvisation for Writers. This workshop is your place to wander, daydream, explore, and most importantly—enjoy the process of writing.
Final drafts or critiques? Those come later.
Here, we focus on discovery and growth:
Personal coaching is available for deeper, one-on-one feedback if you’re ready to take your writing even further.
Together, we can refine and polish your drafts into something extraordinary. And if you’re looking for deeper, one-on-one feedback and guidance to take your writing to the next level? That’s where my personal coaching comes in—available for those ready to refine and polish their drafts into something extraordinary.
Gain Confidence by Sharing Your Writing with Others. Imagine reading your work aloud and, instead of a critique, you discover what truly works with the first draft. Instead of loading your draft with judgment— we celebrate what resonates and how to expand it. We focus on your strengths and how to generate more writing. (A good critique is wonderful, but is better left to less creative stages of your writing process.)
Embrace Authentic Self-Expression. In the Expressive Writing: Write Boldly, Write Freely Workshop, you’ll be encouraged to embrace your raw truth and voice. This will be a safe space to explore and express your deepest thoughts and emotions. By writing boldly and freely, you’ll not only enhance your writing skills but also forge a deep connection to your true self.
BONUS! Expressive writing is more than just a creative outlet—it’s a powerful tool for healing.
Writing for self-discovery uncovers emotions and experiences unconsciously buried or censored. It processes feelings, makes sense of past events, and ultimately, heals you.
Dive into a space where writing is joyful, freeing, and deeply personal. Whether you’re blocked, bored, or just curious, this workshop will help you rediscover the thrill of creating something truly yours.

Live Interactive Online Sessions. Tuesday Night: 6:30 pm to 8:45 pm U.S. Pacific time.
Every week, during 2-hour, 15-minute Sessions, you will:
Meditate: Practice letting go of outer world.
Learn more about the craft of writing. Apply teachings during a timed-writing. This is your time to play, be curious, try something new, step out of your comfort zone, and ask questions.
The Main Writing: In this second half of each class, create fresh, new writing and stories based on your life experiences.
Read Your Writing Out Loud – This is an opportunity to be heard and to observe what your Inner Critic is saying so you can train yourself to bypass it,
Feedback – Practice giving and receiving feedback to others in your small group or cluster by following special guidelines. The goal of all feedback in this workshop is to generate more writing.
